The film, set to go on floors in 2024 with a 40-day start-to-finish schedule, marks the first time a project under Rohit Shetty's banner won't be directed by Shetty himself. The excitement within the team is palpable, with everyone eager to bring this thrilling story to life.
Not one to shy away from playing complex, layered characters, Akshay Kumar has previously showcased his prowess in roles with complex shades, delivering performances that have left an indelible mark on the audience. His nuanced portrayal of a scheming husband in "Ajnabee" (2001) won him the Filmfare Best Villain Award. He demonstrated his ability to play an antagonist with charisma in "Blue," "Khiladi 420," and "Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara!" In "Robot 2.0," Akshay made his Tamil cinema debut, playing the villain Pakshi Rajan, further solidifying his versatility as an actor.
Akshay is currently engrossed in multiple projects, including "Khel Khel Mein," in London, directed by Mudassar Aziz, and a cameo in Rohit Shetty's "Singham," sharing screen space with Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn.
