Bhopal, Jan 18 (IANS) Curfew has been lifted in three police station areas in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal on Monday, which was imposed following a court's decision anticipating disturbance to the communal harmony in the area.

However, Article 144 of the CrPC will be in place and procession will not be allowed.

A structure was about to be made in Kabadkhana area of the capital after the court's ruling in the favour of one party and the another faction was opposing the decision.

The Administration was expecting that riots may break out due to the construction. Hence, the curfew was imposed in Hanumanganj, Tila Jamalpura and Gautam Nagar police station areas on Sunday.

District Magistrate Avinash Lavania had directed to lift the curfew Sunday late night, and prohibitory orders be imposed in all three areas. Also, gathering of more than five people will not be allowed and procession and protests were totally banned.
